Home nursing in and around ZwolleCare at home, from a familiar face

I'm Ellen, an independent community nurse. I visit you at home for wound care, medication, compression stockings or simply help in the shower. No rotating teams, just one person you get to know.

Who pays for the care?

Pick the situation that fits you best.

Basic insurance

Community nursing is covered by Dutch basic insurance, with no excess. I do the assessment at your home. No referral needed.

Just call

The hospital can contact me directly, or you or your family can call. Often I can start the day after discharge.

Private

Want more help than the assessment covers, such as company on hospital visits? Then I charge the hourly rate shown above.

Family carers

You can call on your parent's behalf. I'll visit when you can be there too, and keep you posted with a short message after each visit.

A call back within one working day, first care within a week. No excess to pay.

Why us

Why people choose an independent nurse

One familiar face

You get me, and on holidays one of two regular colleagues. Not a new team every week.

Time for a coffee

I plan generously, so there's time to ask how you're really doing, not just to do the stockings.

A direct line to your GP

I call your GP or pharmacy myself. You don't have to pass anything on.

About

About me

After seventeen years in hospital and at a large home care organisation, I started on my own in 2019. I wanted time again to stay for a coffee and notice how someone is really doing.

I work with a small, fixed group of colleagues, so when I'm on holiday or ill, someone who knows you and your file always comes. I'm BIG-registered and contracted with all major Dutch insurers.
