About us

We’d rather explain a fault than just replace things until it goes away.

Three electricians from Kirkstall

We’ve worked in Leeds homes and rented flats since 2012. Most of our work comes from landlords and people who’ve just bought an old house.

FAQs

Questions we get

How often does a landlord need an EICR?

In England, at least every five years, and a copy goes to the tenant. If the report finds problems, they must be fixed within 28 days or sooner.

Are you registered?

Yes, with a competent person scheme, so we can self-certify notifiable work under Part P of the Building Regulations.

Do I have to be in?

For a full EICR, someone needs to let us in. Many landlords arrange it with the tenant.

Will a rewire make a mess?

Some, yes. We plan it room by room and leave each one usable at the end of the day.
